Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Manuor platform. By using Manuor, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Marketplace Model

Manuor is a marketplace that connects customers with independent home service professionals (“Pros”). Manuor facilitates booking, payments, and diagnostics but does not perform home services.

Pros are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Manuor. Manuor does not guarantee the outcome of any diagnostic or repair work.

2. Assessment Fees & Dispatch

Upfront Assessment Fee

To initiate a service request and dispatch a Pro, customers must pay a non-refundable Assessment Fee upfront (typically $79–$119 depending on urgency). This fee compensates for the Pro’s travel, time, and professional diagnostic expertise.

Service Fulfillment

The diagnostic service is considered fully rendered once the Pro arrives at the service location and provides a diagnosis or repair quote.

Smart Credits

If the customer accepts the Pro’s quote, the designated Smart Credit (shown at checkout) may be applied as a deduction toward the final repair invoice.

  • Have no cash value
  • Are non-transferable
  • Apply only to the specific job booked
  • Expire if the quote is declined or the job is canceled outside refund eligibility

Declined Quotes

Customers are under no obligation to accept any quote. If a quote is declined, the Assessment Fee is retained to compensate for the visit and platform services. No further charges apply.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment receive a full refund of the Assessment Fee.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.

If a Pro arrives or attempts service but cannot perform the diagnostic due to customer unavailability, access issues, or inaccurate job details, the Assessment Fee is non-refundable.

4. Happiness Guarantee

If you are dissatisfied with the quality of work performed, you must notify support@manuor.com within 7 calendar days of service completion.

Manuor may, at its sole discretion:

  • Arrange a follow-up visit
  • Send another Pro
  • Issue a partial or full refund of the repair cost

The Happiness Guarantee:

  • Covers workmanship only
  • Does not cover material defects or unrelated/pre-existing issues
  • Does not exceed the amount paid through Manuor
  • Is administered at Manuor’s discretion

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Manuor is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Manuor’s total liability for any claim related to a service shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer to Manuor for the specific job giving rise to the claim.

6. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration, where permitted by law.
